Work-based learning

Work-based learning (WBL) provides all staff in NHS Wales structured opportunities for developing workplace skills and knowledge. WBL is achieved through accredited and non-accredited learning and is supervised in the workplace.

Accredited learning will provide the learner with a nationally recognised certificate. Non- Accredited learning is developed by a company without approval against regulated standards.
